NEW YORK, NY – Philadelphia based production company Sparks Entertainment announced that they opened an office in New York City on Feb. 2, 2015. This new office will allow Sparks Entertainment to providing creative lighting design, audio production, video projection mapping, concert production and equipment rental to the New York City area.

TORONTO — Montreal-based Solotech recently acquired P.A. Plus Productions, which provides pro audio services, installations, and rentals in the Toronto area. Solotech noted that this acquisition follows on the heels of its recent purchase of Midnite Hour Productions and represents its growing presence in the Toronto market.

SCHAUMBURG, IL — PSAV recently acquired Scottsdale, AZ-based American Audio Visual Center (AAVC), an in-house production company currently operating in more than 65 hotels and resorts. AAVC also operates a full-service production division.

AUSTIN, TX — SHS Global, distributors of new and used lighting, video and audio equipment including Smoke Factory and TourPro products, is also now partnering with Light Sky Lighting and will serve as its U.S. distributor.

LONDON — White Light announced that, in addition to its entertainment lighting services and products, it will now be offering sound gear and services through a dedicated audio department that will handle rentals and installations for venues and special events. Lee Dennison, formerly of Delta Sound and Autograph, will lead the new division. He joined White Light in Nov. 2014.

NEW YORK — Analog Way named Jay Gonzalez as Vice President for the Americas. He succeeds Alexander Schöpff, who led the U.S. subsidiary since 2011. Gonzalez is responsible for the supervision of operations and sales activity for the U.S., Canada and Latin America. He reports to Adrien Corso, Analog Way CEO.

MIAMI, FL – Eurotruss named Luis Duque, based in Miami, as the company’s new sales representative for Latin America. Duque, a well known entrepreneur who also represents other brands for the region, will continue selling lighting fixtures, consoles and sound systems through his own company, Wholestage – D&B Group.
