SPRINGFIELD, OH — R&M Materials Handling, Inc. named Sean Corson director of sales — Latin America. He will assume the responsibilities for R&M’s Crane Builder, Industrial, Entertainment and Drivecon field sales channels throughout Latin America.

MONTREAL — Solotech acquired Toronto-based Midnite Hour Productions. Company founders Marty Anderson, Louis Racine and all other employees are now part of the Solotech team. Separately, the company named Jean-Louis Blanchard vice president of the company’s integration and sales division and promoted Ron Morissette to general manager of the sales and integration division of Solotech’s Toronto office.

AUSTIN, TX — SHS Global, a distributor of new and used lighting, video and audio equipment with offices in North America, South America, Australia and Europe, has been named master distributor of TourPro Lighting Solutions. LAS VEGAS — Morpheus Lights named Randy Wade senior accounts manager, a new position. Wade, who has 26 years experience in all aspects lighting product sales and rentals, including touring, systems integration, and architectural sales, will be based out of his Houston, TX. He will be responsible for the sale of Ayrton LED products and increasing the market share of Morpheus’ Production Services Division.

LAS VEGAS — Timeless Communications announces that well-known lighting designer Nook Schoenfeld will take the helm of Projection, Lights & Staging News effective Dec. 15. Schoenfeld, who is familiar to PLSN readers as the monthly contributor to the LD-at-Large column on the magazine’s last page for the last eight years, has toured with artists and bands ranging from Kid Rock to Imagine Dragons. He is pictured here at the 2014 Parnelli Awards, where his appointment was announced.

BOSTON – ALPS, a theatrical and entertainment lighting company based here, named SeifAllah Salotto-Cristobal sales associate. Seif (pronounced “Safe”) began working in the lighting industry at a college theatre in Northwest Florida in 2005.

MONTREAL — A.C. Lighting named Adrian Plant as the company’s Canadian sales representative and North American Prolyte representative, a new position created in response to support growing brands including Prolyte, ArKaos and LedGo. Plant has more than 25 years of entertainment industry experience with companies including Martin Professional, Erikson Pro Audio and Montreal-based SF Marketing.

HAMPTON, Middlesex, U.K. — Kinesys, based here, named David Bond head of sales for North America. The company announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in the Atlanta area in August. Bond will be leading the Kinesys USA sales department and traveling extensively to meet with and talk to customers throughout North America.
