SERIATE, Italy and MUNICH, Germany — Osram completed its acquisition of Clay Paky on Oct. 13. All necessary approvals from the respective authorities have been granted regarding the acquisition. Also on Oct. 13, Pio Nahum assumed the role of CEO of Osram’s Clay Paky unit.

ATLANTA — NanoLumens named 25-year tech sector veteran Lee Riesterer (pictured here) vice president of strategic alliances, a new position. The company also promoted Rick Bortles (pictured below) to the position of executive vice president. NanoLumens president and CEO Rick Cope made the announcements.

NEW YORK — WorldStage named industry veteran Jerry Romano director of its Broadcast Sales division.  Prior to WorldStage, Romano served as vice president, TV/Film at the New York City office of 4Wall Entertainment Lighting.

LONDON — Creative Technology’s London operation announce the expansion of its account management team with the return of Mick Jones. Jones, a 27-year AV industry veteran, started his career at Mediatech AV in the late 1980s and most recently worked for Chaos Visual Productions. He worked previously for CT in the late 1990s.

COLUMBIA, MD — Nemetschek AG, corporate parent to Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc., announced that it will acquire 100 percent of Bluebeam Software, Inc., headquartered in Pasadena, CA. Bluebeam is a leading provider of PDF-based workflow solutions for digital processes and collaboration in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry with more than 650,000 users worldwide.

ROUDNICE nad LABEM, Czech Republic — Milos Group, parent company to Tomcat, will add James Thomas Engineering (JTE) to its stable of truss-related brands. The company announced plans to bring JTE under the Tomcat banner Oct. 6.

LONDON — Wireless Lighting is a new company and online portal dedicated to the dry and cross hire of battery powered wireless lighting technologies for the show and event industry in and around London.

AARHUS, Denmark — SGM named Filippo Frigeri senior area sales manager of the U.K. and U.S. to further serve and support SGM clients in those regions. Frigeri, who has eight years of industry experience, has European roots and attended college in the U.S.
