ATLANTA — Spectrum Productions, Inc. added Matthew Weil to its Atlanta team.  Weil comes to Spectrum Productions with more than two decades of professional experience with the meetings, special event and television industries, working primarily with large corporations and civic organizations.

ANAHEIM, CA – BCT Entertainment announced that it has purchased Premiere Labor LLC in a strategic buyout and is rebranding the company as Full Staging Productions Inc. The name change reflects the newly-acquired subsidiary’s expansion, with services including labor, equipment, transportation and production management. BCT Entertainment said it will remain unaffected as Full Staging and Productions begins operations.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden – LumenRadio, a manufacturer of wireless lighting control equipment, named Alexander Hellström, pictured here, as its CEO. Hellström has held senior level or CEO roles at other companies including Capgemini, Experis IT and Primas Invest. Per Hulthén, co-founder and former CEO, is taking on a new role with the company’s board of directors. He will continue to lead the development of wireless control for building automation.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden and TORONTO, Canada — LumenRadio, the Sweden-based provider of wireless lighting controls, named Toronto-based A.C. Lighting as exclusive distributor of its CRMX product portfolio in North America. The full LumenRadio product portfolio is now available to the extensive A.C. Lighting customer base.

SYDNEY — Riedel Communications named Erik Miehs service engineer for Australia. In his new role, Miehs will boost Riedel’s ability to support existing customers and equipment rentals while contributing to the company’s continued overall growth in sales and rentals across the region.

SUN VALLEY, CA — Lex Products named industry veteran Jeff deRecat as its new sales territory manager for the Western U.S. market. deRecat comes to Lex Products from Marinco/Advanced Devices, a manufacturer of entertainment and industrial wiring devices and CAM connectors, where he worked for 16 years.

MONTREAL – Show Distribution, a Scapin Staging subsidiary, welcomed Bernard Thériault in his new role as senior consultant for the company. Thériault, who established Arcofab in 1993, brings extensive experience in the fabrication and distribution of aluminum trusses to Scapin Staging and Show Distribution, which specializes in the sale and rental of staging equipment and electric hoists.  Thériault also has experience as a lighting designer.

MIRAMAR, FL – Barbizon Lighting Company named Jaison O’Connor as its new sales manager to lead the company’s Florida products and expendables sales operations, which includes both the Miramar and Orlando offices. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, O’Connor has more than 10 years of experience working within the entertainment industry as a manufacturer’s rep for major audio and lighting companies with a focus on Florida and the Caribbean markets.
