Hall Stage Names Steve Shortt Head of Design

LUTON, U.K. – Steve Shortt, a 30-year industry veteran, has joined Hall Stage, based here, as head of design. Shortt has worked with Hall Stage products on projects led by the staging company’s U.S. partners, including Thern Stage Equipment, Hall Stage North America, Epic Production Technologies, Gridworks and others. The company says his appointment is part of its plan for growth in new product development and projects and installations.

Messe Frankfurt Acquires LED Expo, Media Expo Trade Events in India

INDIA – Messe Frankfurt has acquired two of India’s leading trade fairs, LED Expo and Media Expo. LED Expo takes place annually in both Delhi and Mumbai, and is the only event in the industry focused solely on LED products. Media Expo occurs once a year in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata and is the largest exhibition for the signage and advertising industry. This takes the number of events organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India to 14.
