CYPRESS, CA — FOR-A America promoted its northeast sales manager, Jay Shinn. He has been named vice president of the company. Shinn first joined FOR-A in August 2012 to head FOR-A’s sales activity in the Northeastern U.S., including states from Maine to Virginia. An industry veteran with extensive experience in the broadcast technology industry, Shinn begins taking on responsibilities in his new role immediately.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Clearwing Productions recently completed an expansion of their Milwaukee retail space and warehouse here.  The additional space brings the total size of their Milwaukee headquarters to 43,120 square feet and includes a remodel of their retail and service shops. The expanded warehouse now has additional dock spaces (including an indoor dock), additional show prep space, upgraded shipping/receiving areas and a new service department.

NEW YORK — Production Resource Group LLC (PRG) announced that Stephen Lambright has joined its executive leadership team as vice president of marketing.  Lambright, who has 20 years of international marketing and brand development experience, reports to PRG’s CEO, Jeremiah Harris.

LIVERPOOL, U.K. — Adlib, based here, recently named Mike Docksey general manager for the rental company’s Lighting and AV divisions. Docksey comes to Adlib with nine years of experience working on behalf of Blackburn, U.K.-based HSL Group.

MINNETONKA, MN — Vaddio, a manufacturer of robotic cameras and unified communications products, named Ed Ellet as the company’s president, chief executive officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective June 30, 2014. Ellett replaces Rob Sheeley, founder and CEO of Vaddio, who has served as President since founding the company with Tom Mingo in December 2002.

KORTRIJK, Belgium – Barco has hired Bill Beck to work closely with its Sales and R&D teams to further expand its reach into global laser projection technologies. As a photonics entrepreneur for more than three decades, and co-founder and former chairman of the Laser Illuminated Projector Association (LIPA), Bill brings in-depth knowledge of laser technology and the specific requirements for its application.

SYRACUSE, NY – USITT noted that three new officers — Mark Shanda, Jack Feivou and Carolyn Satter, who were elected by USITT members in late 2013, will officially begin their new three-year terms starting July 1. They join Markèta Fantová, who was re-elected as USITT’s Vice President of International Activities. USITT also added six directors to its 30-member board, who will also have three year terms beginning July 1. The newcomers include Brent “Mickey” Henry, Rafael Jean, Shane Kelly, Karen Manness, Michael McNamara and Vickie Scott.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Harman named of Erik Tarkiainen vice president of Global Marketing. Tarkiainen, based at Harman’s offices here, will lead global marketing strategy and execution across the company’s Professional Division. He reports to Ralph Santana, Harman’s chief marketing officer, and Blake Augsburger, president, Harman Professional Division.
