Bright Group Acquires Lagom & Gott

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The Bright Group has acquired Lagom & Gott Ljud AB, a sound and light equipment provider based here. Lagom & Gott will continue to operate as a separate company, and becomes a sister company to Starlight in Sweden. The current owners of Lagom & Gott will assume a new role as Bright Group managers. They have also become shareholders in Bright Group.

The Light Source Names John Hartness National Sales Manager

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Light Source, Inc. named John G. Hartness national sales manager. Hartness has nearly 20 years of entertainment lighting industry experience, most recently as general manager of Eye Dialogue in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that, Hartness spent more than 15 years with Barbizon Charlotte, rising from Inside Sales to Systems Manager, a position he held for nearly a decade.

Apollo Design Technology Names Ben Powers Industrial Designer

Apollo Design Technology, Inc. announces the appointment of Ben Powers as an Industrial Designer. In this role, Powers will help develop new and innovative products from concept to product release. He will also make enhancements to existing products and specifications.

Prior to joining Apollo Design Technology, Powers was self-employed as a product, graphic, and web designer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in industrial design from Purdue University. “Ben will be key in helping Apollo Design build a broad array of products for our industry. Ben brings a fresh perspective and will ensure our products are innovative in both form and function.” said Mr. Joel Nichols, president of Apollo Design Technology.
