SYRACUSE, NY — J.R. Clancy, based here, named Matthew M. Mullen as its new domestic sales manager, effective Nov. 4, 2013. Prior to J.R. Clancy, Mullen served as VP at Beck Studios, where he was responsible for 40% of their annual sales and supervised the installation of big renovation projects including the Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio, and Alfred University in upstate New York. He has close to 30 years experience in the rigging field and is an ETCP-certified rigger.

COLUMBIA, MD — Sean Flaherty, CEO of Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. (pictured here) and Viktor Varkonyi, CEO of Graphisoft SE, have been promoted to the Executive Board of Nemetschek AG. Both have extensive experience in the international software industry.

FORT WORTH, TX — ProAudio.com, a dealer/distributor of more than 400 professional audio, video, lighting and broadcast equipment lines, named Tim LaPrade senior account manager. LaPrade joins ProAudio.com after a 17-year career at Sound Productions.

SYRACUSE, NY— With significant business growth throughout the Asia Pacific region, J. R. Clancy has opened a Southeast Asia office in Singapore. Robert J. Degenkolb will step into the role as managing director of J.R. Clancy (Singapore) Pte Ltd, where he will be focused on business development for the region.

FREDERICK, MD — Parlights, Inc. named Walt Dowling, a 20-year veteran in stage equipment, lighting controls, systems integration and energy management, as president and chief operating officer. Dowling, who has also worked on behalf of Altman, Crestron, and Phillips/Strand Lighting, most recently served as director of sales and marketing for Autani Corporation.

BRANSON, MO – A.C. Lighting added Darrell Barnes to its North American sales team. Barnes, a theatrical lighting veteran who has worked as an LD, programmer and technical director for shows produced in Branson, MO for more than 10 years, will serve as the company’s southwest regional sales manager, supporting sales for Chroma-Q, Jands, ArKaos, LedGo and Prolyte branded products.
