AARHUS, Denmark — Harman Professional has promoted company veteran, David Ravnkilde, to director of marketing of its Lighting Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Martin Professional.  Effective immediately, Ravnkilde will assume responsibility for all product marketing and marketing communications and will report directly to Lars Dige Knudsen, vice president and general manager of Martin Professional.  Ravnkilde joined Martin in 2004 and has held successively more senior management positions in product management and marketing.

Dupont is responsible for providing technical assistance on behalf of Robert Juliat to lighting professionals worldwide. Dupont has more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, in both France and the U.K.

HOUSTON – Lumonic Ltd, a Manchester, U.K.-based maker of the ilumo range of LED lights, named StageLight, based here, as their U.S. distributor. The product range was featured at the USITT’s annual Conference & Stage Expo in March.

OPA LOCKA, FL – Los Angeles-based ADJ Group, a global supplier of lighting, audio and trussing products, announced that it will open a new multi-functional facility in south Florida later this year.  Strategically located near airport and shipping facilities, the new ADJ complex will serve the company’s customers east of the Mississippi, as well as those in Central America, the Caribbean and South America.  ADJ customers in south Florida will be able to pick up orders from the facility on the same day they’re placed.
