Design Productions Opens Retail Sales Division

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Design Productions, a full service lighting, drapery and AV company, recently opened its retail sales division for theatrical lighting and video products here. Company president Andy Tolar will also head the new sales division, with Corey Jackson serving as rental manager. Earlier this year, Design Productions was named a finalist in PLSN‘s national Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year competition, having won the most votes for the award in the Southeast region.

SGM Sets Up New Operation in Germany

KOLN, Germany – SGM Lighting has formed SGM Germany. Spearheading operations for the Danish lighting company are Michael Herweg and Thorsten Sattler, who were previously managing director and sales manager respectively of SGM’s German distribution company, dB Technologies Germany. The formation of SGM Germany is a joint venture between the two partners and the parent company.

ORLANDO, FL and QUEBEC, Canada — Christie Lites named Arcofab its preferred manufacturer of 16-inch spigoted trusses.
