QUEBEC – Arcofab has become the first distributor and certified service center of ChainMaster products in North America. Chain Master develops high-powered electric chain hoists and chain hoist controllers. Arcofab is a North American provider of trusses, support systems and motorization solutions for the entertainment and event industries.

LOS ANGELES – Esteban Caracciolo joins A.C.T Lighting’s technical support team, where he will support and train customers on the entire product line. He was previously product manager for PRG Distribution North America for the past five years. Prior to  that, he was an LD/programmer for various touring acts.

KNOXVILLE, TN – Australian-based lighting systems control manufacturer LSC Lighting Systems (Aust) Pty Ltd, is opening a fully staffed office in the US. Industry veteran Rob Steel will head up the new office, based in Knoxville, TN. The new office will offer products and service, along with technical support and operator training.

LAS VEGAS – Cory Walker has recently joined Christie Lites as a National Account Rep in the Las Vegas office. Walker was previously Account Executive at Morpheus Lights in Las Vegas for the past six years. He started his career in the late 1980s as a stagehand in Chicago, and soon his varied production skills led him to positions with Jack Morton, Upstaging and VLPS. He moved to Las Vegas in 2001 as an LD/programmer for Sam’s Town Live, and started taking electrician calls from Morpheus, which led to his stint there.

FAIRFIELD, NJ — Middle Atlantic Products has named Adam Gold midwest regional sales manager; his territory includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri for all market segments. Middle Atlantic also named David Bromberg regional sales manager for the Western region. Bromberg’s territory includes Southern California and Southern Nevada for all market segments and Arizona for residential, security and DataComm channels.

NASHVILLE – LMG, a national provider of video, audio, and lighting support, has opened a new office in Nashville. The location houses over 24,000 square feet of office and warehouse space, and will become a new base of operations to support corporate events and tours. Steve Austin has been hired as an accounts manager in Nashville to manage the new facility.
