AARHUS, Denmark – Kris Van Hullebusch joins Martin Professional as a Test and Support Engineer at its lighting controller development center in Belgium, providing global support, training and service. Martin also added a 24-hour Controller Support Hotline available in multiple languages including English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese among others.

CAMARILLO, CA – Jason Alt has been promoted to President of Delicate Productions. In his new role, he is responsible for operations, sales, management, growth and strategic planning. He will oversee the Camarillo and San Francisco offices in addition to the company’s electronic sales division. Alt joined Delicate Productions in 2008.

NEW YORK – Theatre design consultancy Charcoalblue is opening a studio in New York’s Chelsea district in September. The company launched in 2004 with founders Andy Hayles, Gavin Green and Jon Stevens, and has won awards for projects under their performing arts consultancy service.

BRISTOL, UK – Stage Electrics has been appointed as a distributor for new British LED fixture manufacturer Lumonic. The first product launch is the ilumo Zoom LED spot/wash, which features 12 LEDs in one unit. Stage Electrics will show the new product at PLASA.

ASHLAND, VA – Czech Republic-based trussing and staging manufacturer Milos Group has acquired two leading trussing and staging brands, Litec and TOMCAT. The new deal makes Milos one of the largest global aluminum trussing and staging groups, with the addition of major manufacturing bases in Italy, Slovakia, Mexico and the US.

HAMPTON, Middlesex, UK – Kinesys appoints Cristiano Giavedoni as Marketing and Business Director. Giavedoni has previously provided business consulting services to Columbus McKinnon, and prior to that was the product manager for rigging equipment at Litec in Italy. He also sits on several international standards committees.
