NEW YORK – Belgium-based architectural lighting manufacturer Kreon Inc, appoints Darin Fowler as General Manager of North American operations. Fowler, headquartered in New York City, will oversee all sales, customer service and marketing in the US and Canada. Fowler most recently was Regional Sales Manager at High End Systems, specializing in lighting for fixed installations. Before that, he was Senior Designer/Project Manager for NY-based Schwinghammer Lighting and also Johnson Light Studio, with his career start at Focus Lighting.

BROOKINGS, SD – Greg Pilewski, who has 25 years of industry experience, has joined Daktronics’ rigging sales team. He will represent the company’s automated rigging products. Based in Greenville, SC, his territory will cover the southern U.S.

AUSTIN, TX – Jamie Boey joins High End Systems as a Regional Sales Manager for the Asia-South Pacific area (APAC). Boey worked the last two years with Robert Juliat as an Area Sales Manager for Asia.

OXNARD, CA – Gordon ‘Gordo’ Hyndford has joined Epic Production Technologies as Senior Account Executive. Hyndford brings more than 30 years of industry relationships and experience to the company, including a number of years working with Ed & Ted’s Excellent Lighting (one of two founding companies of Epic). ?Hyndford is working at Epic’s Southern California facility in Oxnard.

DALLAS – Philips Strand Lighting has reorganized its U.S. Sales Regions as part of an effort to expand its client relations and support services nationwide.  Along with the newly-structured territories, the company has added new sales team members Tom Stanziano for the Southeastern region and Todd Kenter for the Midwestern region.

LONDON – Electrosonic promoted James Sharp to account manager for corporate solutions. Sharp joined Electrosonic’s Edinburgh office in 2005 taking on the position of Internal Sales Support. During his six years with the company, Sharp has worked within the Corporate, Entertainment and Operations teams in both a sales and technical capacity. He was previously promoted from sales engineer to account manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

TUSTIN, CA – WorldStage has added three staff members to its West Coast office. Sean T. Glen joins WorldStage as senior project manager, Stuart Kopple as senior account executive and Dan Leavitt as production services manager.

TEMPE, AZ –  Michael “Woody” Woods has been promoted to president of the Entertainment Division at Precise Corporate Staging, where he will lead the account services, operations and business development departments. Woods has a background as a musician, musical engineer and producer.
