DALLAS – Philips Strand Lighting has reorganized its U.S. Sales Regions as part of an effort to expand its client relations and support services nationwide.  Along with the newly-structured territories, the company has added new sales team members Tom Stanziano for the Southeastern region and Todd Kenter for the Midwestern region.

LONDON – Electrosonic promoted James Sharp to account manager for corporate solutions. Sharp joined Electrosonic’s Edinburgh office in 2005 taking on the position of Internal Sales Support. During his six years with the company, Sharp has worked within the Corporate, Entertainment and Operations teams in both a sales and technical capacity. He was previously promoted from sales engineer to account manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

TUSTIN, CA – WorldStage has added three staff members to its West Coast office. Sean T. Glen joins WorldStage as senior project manager, Stuart Kopple as senior account executive and Dan Leavitt as production services manager.

TEMPE, AZ –  Michael “Woody” Woods has been promoted to president of the Entertainment Division at Precise Corporate Staging, where he will lead the account services, operations and business development departments. Woods has a background as a musician, musical engineer and producer.

TORONTO – CAST Software has promoted Jim Hutchison, creator and editor of JimOnLight.com, to a product manager position. He will oversee CAST Software’s wysiwyg and Vivien Virtual Event Designer, the CAST software suite for the special events industry.  Hutchison has been with CAST since 2009 as their social media manager.

HOLLISTER, MO – Blue Planet Lighting is expanding operations with an additional office with warehouse space in Las Vegas, Nevada, just a few blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. The new location is set to open this spring.

LONDON – Electrosonic has promoted Rob Smith to the newly developed position of Sales Manager of the Cultural Entertainment and Leisure (CEL) business for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Smith joined Electrosonic in 2010 as Client Account Manager. Smith has spent 20 years in the AV industry. Prior to that, he was an avionics engineer for the Royal Air Force.

LONDON – London, UK-based automation and motion control specialist, Kinesys, has appointed Light Partner as its exclusive Danish distributor in the latest expansion of its global distribution network. The Herning, Denmark-based company is celebrating its 20th year in the entertainment technology industry.

ERLANGER, KY – Lee Dodson has been appointed Vice President of Business Development for both TV One and Magenta Research, two Nortek, Inc. companies in the Pro A/V market. The 25-year veteran of the professional A/V industry, Dodson most recently served as president at Premier Mounts. His resume include executive positions at Extron Electronics and Sony Electronics, along with service on InfoComm committees.
