WILLEBROEK, Belgium — Robert Juliat named AED Distribution NV/Belgium, based here, as its distributor in Belgium and Luxembourg. AED Distribution, which works with a dealer network and does not supply end users directly, now owns more than 200 Robert Juliat followspots. The AED Distribution and AED Repair teams have undergone product and sales training from Robert Juliat.

REGENSBURG, Germany — Frank Tillner has succeeded Elke Eckstein as chief operating officer. He will oversee chip and LED production plants in Regensburg and Penang, Malaysia. Tillner, 51, a native of Aachen, Germany, has many years of experience in semiconductor processes and production. Prior to Osram Opto Semiconductors, he served as senior vice president at Conergy AG.

LONDON — Martin Professional’s EMEA sales organization named Eloise Bailey project sales manager. Bailey, who brings experience as both a lighting designer and key account manager, will oversee project activities throughout Martin’s UK market.

WASHINGTON, DC — eps america has named Knute O. Brye account executive in charge of sales in North America. Brye brings more than 20 years of experience in guest service, event security, and overall risk management for concerts and festivals. He served as security director for major tours, including Bon Jovi and U2 worldwide. Prior to that, he founded and operated his own contract security company.

BALTIMORE, MD — Event Tech named Chad Houseknecht, longtime production manager at Nightclub 930 in Washington, DC, as the production and rental company’s new warehouse operations manager. The company also named John James, another industry veteran, production manager. James has been involved in the technical side of special event production — designing audio, lighting and temporary power systems — for 20 years.
