MIDLAND, TX — Tomcat named Scott Johnson project manager. Prior to Tomcat, Johnson was senior design engineer at James Thomas Engineering, where he worked for almost 11 years. As such, Johnson has considerable experience and knowledge of production drawings, special projects, custom installs & training, advertising and marketing, customer service and solutions.

SUN VALLEY, CA — GLP Inc. announced that Carl Wake has taken on a new role within the company as technical services director and that Dusty Hudgins has joined the company as regional sales manager for the central U.S.

HACKENSACK, NJ — A.C.T Lighting named Dawn Borsella technical support specialist.  Borsella will support the entire range of A.C.T Lighting products, including MA Lighting, Clay Paky, LiteWare and W-DMX. She will also train customers on the use and operation of those products.

GERAARDSBERGEN, Belgium — Martin Professional named Maarten Gossye key account manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. Gossye previously worked for Martin Professional’s former distributor in Belgium, EVDV, from 2007-2010, where he was responsible for customer service and product support.

SUNRISE, FL — Martin Professional, Inc. has named Brad Haynes senior project manager and head of its newly-established Project Sales department. Prior to his new post, Haynes served as regional sales manager and product manager for Martin. He joined the company in 2006. Prior to that, he founded and operated his own company, Bright Ideas, a lighting and sound company based in Missouri.

MADRID — Martin Professional A/S and its distributor in Spain, Ecler, announced plans for a new distribution arrangement starting Sept. 10 where Martin will serve some customers directly and Ecler will supply Martin gear to other users of the company’s products. Martin also announced that it had hired three of Ecler’s managers – Eduard Baró, Fernando Moya and Eduard Muñoz – to handle its local operations in Spain.
