LONDON — Rosco Europe named Cristian Arroyo business development manager for southern Europe. Arroyo, who joined Madrid-based Rosco Iberica in 1998 as financial manager, will also serve the company as European textiles manager. He will continue to be based in Madrid for one year, then move to London as part of Rosco’s strategy of bringing business units closer together.

SUNRISE, FL — Chauvet promoted Dwight Slamp to business development manager, where Slamp will concentrate his efforts on the production, touring and contract markets of the lighting industry. Slamp, who has been with Chauvet since late 2006, had been working as a business development manager for the southeast U.S.

LONDON — Unusual Group Ltd. has signed up to be a dealer for the full range of Prolyte Group theatre products in the UK. Unusual provides rigging and stage engineering solutions for installation and touring projects. The company has built relationships with a broad range of performance venues over the years, providing everything from shackles to complete flying system installations — covering anything that is suspended in a building.

SYRACUSE, NY, June 27 —J. R. Clancy recently hired Hee Yeon Jeong as a mechanical engineer and Brandon Welsh as a new design engineer.

PENDLETON, IN — Tyler Truss Systems Inc. recently added Tony Biddle to its fabrication facility management team. Biddle, who has more than 22 years of experience in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, is a machining specialist with experience in supervision and management positions. He has also completed coursework in both Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
