NEW YORK – Analog Way promoted Alexander Schöpff to the position of VP of American Operations. Schöpff, who joined Analog Way in 2003, will be based in New York, overseeing operations and sales activities for the U.S., Canadian, and South American markets.

BILLERICA, MA – Broadcast Pix named Paul Lara director of marketing. Lara has worked in the television industry for more than 25 years, including five years as producer and news director for KCEN-TV in Waco, Texas, and eight years in video production for Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Most recently, he spent 11 years marketing video products for NewTek.

GUANGZHOU, China – Multiform Lighting announced an expansion of its operations here, citing growing sales of their LED lighting systems. The company has moved into a new 24,000-square-foot manufacturing facility staffed by 70 employees.

MIAMI – Proel America announced several changes to their independent sales rep network in the U.S., including the addition of some new firms to their sales team.

NORTH CREEK, NY – Creative Stage Lighting has named Paul "PJ" Turpin at its Western business development manager. Turpin will be responsible for servicing CSL dealer accounts in the Western U.S.

LONDON – StageHand has been chosen as the new name for the Production Services Association (PSA) Welfare & Benevolent Fund after a PSA Conference call for ideas by the Fund's chairman, Mike Lowe of Britannia Row Productions. The group also agreed on a new logo depicting a helping hand.

LAS VEGAS – Timeless Communications announced that lighting designer and iSquint.net founder Justin Lang will take the helm of Projection, Lights & Staging News effective March 1. Lang has worked in the lighting industry for 15 years, has designed and lit dozens of productions in the Washington, D.C., area including special events at the Newseum, and founded iSquint.net, a blog covering entertainment lighting technology, news and products.

FORT LEE, NJ – FOR-A Corporation of America named Pedro Silvestre sales director. Silvestre, who had been FOR-A's regional sales manager, Caribbean and Latin America, for the past four years, will now manage sales for all of the U.S. and Latin America.
