Both events – the 50th anniversary of international cosmetic company Oriflame and the 25th anniversary of international footwear company Analpa – were produced by the company earlier this year.

Avolites Provides 360° Control for Arcade Fire

USA – Multimedia entertainment studio Moment Factory and lighting designer Christopher Bushell are the creatives behind Indie music heavyweights Arcade Fire’s ‘most ambitious production to date’ – the Infinite Content tour. Bushell, who worked closely with Creative Director Tarik Mikou from Moment Factory on the production, is using an Avolites Sapphire Touch and Titan v10.1 app to control the enveloping lighting environment, which features a 360° stage set in the round.

SOUTH AFRICA – The latest series of ‘Take Me Out Mzanzi’ – aired on M-Net’s Mzanzi Magic network in South Africa market – was recorded over 6 weeks at Sasani Studios in Johannesburg, featuring a lighting scheme designed by Rob Grobler, with equipment supplied by rental specialist Gearhouse South Africa. Produced by Rapid Blue, the show has a style book and a specific look that has to be followed, explained Rob, who chose over 130 Robe fixtures to assist him in achieving this task on the lighting side.

ER Productions will Try for Laser Show World Record in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – ER Productions will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for Largest Laser Show at LDI 2017. The attempt will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 on the LDI Live Outside stage. The attempt will be accompanied by a live performance from British DJ Damian Gee. The laser and DJ show, open to all show attendees, is also part of ER Productions’ celebration of its 10-year company milestone. Along with the world record attempt, the company will showcase its capabilities at demonstration suite N102 from Nov. 17-19.
