THE HAGUE, The Netherlands – Carving out a name for itself in northern Europe’s bustling festival scene, the Crave Festival has been making waves in electronic and techno music circles with its searing musical performances and edgy industrial vibe. The 2017 edition of this red hot festival more than lived up to expectations, thanks in part to a stunning custom stage setting designed by RF Shows. Central to this design were 14 CHAUVET Professional STRIKE 1 fixtures, which provided hard-hitting visuals in support of the industrial theme of the festival, which takes place in the shadows of The Hague.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden – LumenRadio reports that ARRI chose its wireless technology for their wireless products going forward. The first products to be released are the SkyLink and the SkyPanel S360-C, both debuting at IBC 2017.

OSTRAVA, Czech Republic — Robe moving lights made a major contribution at the 2017 Colors Of Ostrava (COO) festival with nearly 100 fixtures utilized to light the ArcelorMittal Stage in a stylish and flexible production design created by Kamil Kruzik. The lights were supplied by oneAVteam, the largest audio visual rental group in Central Europe. Three companies cooperated on this project – AV MEDIA, RentalPRO and YVENTECH. The annual four day international multi-genre Festival is staged on the site of the former ironworks at Dolní Vítkovice, Ostrava, Czech Republic.

LONDON – Storm Ltd. of the UK has optimized their large inventory of ProPlex Data Distribution units, installing them in rugged, touring racks, the perfect solution for their work on productions throughout the UK and Europe.  To paraphrase a great British statesman, never in the history of show networking has so much data been distributed by so few devices. 

AMSTERDAM — ARRI may be in the midst of its centenary celebrations, but along with a look back, the company is focusing on new products at the IBC Show in Amsterdam. Featured lighting products include the company’s LED soft lights – SkyPanel, L, and M series, plus the company’s wireless alternative to DMX cables for its SkyPanels, called SkyLink (pictured here). The company will also feature camera equipment such as ALEXA SXT W, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA.
