MIDDLETON, WI – ETC announced that its Source 4WRD PAR and Source 4WRD PARNel Fixture Bodies are now shipping. The company notes advantages in terms of both energy efficiency and brightness over ETC’s original Source Fours with conventional lamp sources. A company-produced video highlights the differences and notes that while a modular design lets customers use these components with ETC’s newer fixtures, these units are not designed to work with the company’s older legacy products.

MANCHESTER, TN – Working with LD Andi Watson and production manager William Irons, Bandit Lites once again provided the lighting for the tower at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, deploying SGM G-Spot fixtures. The top of the tower, a focal point for Bonnaroo, features a large rotating mirror ball. It is actually a permanent structure that serves as a North Star of sorts to the festival attendees, allowing them to navigate more easily through the 700-acre festival site.

AUGUSTA, GA – After three Grammy Awards, over 100 shows with the Grateful Dead, and 11 million record sales, Bruce Hornsby hasn’t lost his taste for touring. The legendary singer-songwriter is crisscrossing the US with his band The Noisemakers this summer and enjoying every minute of it.  Touring is fun, Hornsby told an interviewer, because he and the band “keep the spontaneity factor high.”  This free flowing spirit was very much in evidence when the Hornsby tour bus pulled into the Columbia County Amphitheatre in June, both in terms of the music performed on stage and the John Berret designed lightshow that backed it up note for free flowing note.

NASHVILLE – Chris Lisle has designed the production and lighting for Jason Aldean’s current “They Don’t Know” tour and is using Elation Professional gear as part of a large lighting package. The country music singer has been on the road since late April and is playing a variety of venues across North America through the summer and into the fall.

NYC – ESTA’s Happy Hour to benefit Behind the Scenes returns for its 4th year as one of the biggest parties of the year and will take place on Thursday, November 16 from 6pm-8pm at the Havana Room located in the Tropicana Hotel.
