Capital Cities Plays Beneath Elation LED Rig at Bowery Ballroom in New York

NEW YORK – The Bowery Ballroom in New York’s Bowery section of Manhattan is often cited as the best music club in the city. The live music venue houses an Elation LED lighting rig and attracts a wide variety of musical talent from well-known acts like Coldplay and The White Stripes to up and coming talent. Housed in a 1920’s Beaux Arts building, the Bowery Ballroom is a memorable date on any band’s touring calendar. On November 3rd American pop duo Capital Cities played a pair of shows at the venue as part of their fall 2016 tour.

ANTWERP, BE. – Entertainment engineering specialists WIcreations supplied automation elements to help Belgian superstar rockers Clouseau ramp-up the drama and fun for their biennial end-of-year spectacular shows at the 20,000 capacity Antwerp Sportpaleis venue. The band is in the middle of playing four sold-out shows that started in December and conclude in January – following an extensive theatre tour ongoing through most of the year to support their innovative and popular “Clouseau Danst” album.

Jan. 1 Nightclub Shooting in Turkey: 39 Killed, 65 Injured

ISTANBUL — Authorities in Turkey are still searching for a gunman who fired 180 bullets from an AK 47, killing 39 and wounding 65 people celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Reina nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey. The Islamic State later claimed responsibility for the attack. About 600 people were in the club at the time of the seven-minute attack, according to reports. Witnesses reported that the gunman shouted “Allahu akbar” while firing his weapon inside the venue after killing a police officer and bystander outside. He then left his weapon, changed clothes and exited the back door, blending into the crowd.
