LAS VEGAS — After nearly 10 years at the helm, Jacob Coakley is stepping down as editor of Stage Directions magazine, an affiliated publication with PLSN. The Feb. 2017 issue will be Coakley’s last. Michael S. Eddy, who has held many positions during his career in theatre, most recently as a freelance writer and marketing consultant, will take over as editor. Eddy, who has also written numerous articles for PLSN over a 10-year span, will continue as a PLSN contributing writer.

The acclaimed theatre, in the southern Tel Aviv suburb of Jaffa, was founded in 1991 by new Russian immigrants including artistic director Yevgeny Arye and is now regarded as a key platform of Israeli culture.
