FARMINGDALE, NY — Avolites’ US distributor, Group One Ltd., appointed RL Wilson & Associates to represent the lighting brand in the Southwestern U.S. The announcement comes from Avolites/Group One National Sales Manager Brad White, to whom the firm reports. Effective immediately, the independent manufacturers’ representative firm is now servicing Avolites’ Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii territories.Headquartered in Temecula, California, RL Wilson & Associates was founded in 1988 and is under the direction of Principal Rich Wilson.

OLD HICKORY, TN — Kendall E. Carter, 53, died Nov. 23, 2016 at his home in Old Hickory, TN, near Nashville. Born in Baker, LA, near Baton Rouge, he hit the road at age 19, heading out to Los Angeles and joining Showlites. He toured with top rock and country acts and helped Rhino launch its Louisiana office before joining VER as a project manager in 2012.
