CueCore2 Solid-state Lighting Control from Visual Productions

Visual Productions upgraded their CueCore 1024 channel solid-state lighting controller with the CueCore2. This new controller now offers even more capacity and protocols for architectural lighting projects and will be available to see on their booth #1749 during LDI in Las Vegas this month. The CueCore2 is a lighting controller for permanent installations. The device is completely solid-state, with no moving parts; it is a secure and low-maintenance installation control solution that has only a minimal power consumption.

READING, UK – A Jands Vista console was at the heart of Fall Out Boy’s headline performances at the recent Reading and Leeds Festival main stages. Miami’s New World Symphony Prepares for a 4K Future with Hitachi Cameras

MIAMI — Hitachi Kokusai Electric America Ltd., based in Woodbury, NY, has partnered with New World Symphony, an orchestral academy based in Miami Beach, to help transition the live production of its world-renowned outdoor Wallcast concert experiences and other productions to native 4K UHD resolution. Along with Christie projectors, the Hitachi SK-UHD4000 cameras represent the first phase of an end-to-end 4K video infrastructure upgrade at the New World Center, campus of the New World Symphony.

PR Live Generates Large Format Projection for Private U.K. Event

UK – Event technical production solution specialist PR Live supplied an impressive large format projection on the side of a large house as the finale for an exclusive private party in the UK. The PR Live crew used a combination of their new d3 server and six Christie 20K high powered projectors for this project. PR Live’s Dave Gillett led the team, designed the projection system and applied his experience in the specialist area of projection mapping which caught guest’s attention as they exited a big marquee that was erected in the garden for the event.

Electric Zoo Festival Returns to NYC with Pyrotecnico Special Effects

NEW YORK – Helping to transform New York’s Randall’s Island into the “Wild Island” for the 2016 Electric Zoo Festival from Sept. 2-4, Pyrotecnico brought special effects that included the laser beams emitting from the eyes of the giant cobra structure that served as a visual focal point for EDM revelers. TORONTO – Christie and Evans & Sutherland are key sponsors of the annual Giant Screen Cinema Association trade show (GSCA), now taking place (Oct. 4-7) in Toronto.
