Nordlite Invests In GLP Impression X4 Bars

HAMBURG, Germany – Event technology service provider Nordlite has expanded its rental fleet to include 60 impression X4 Bar 20 fixtures from GLP. Nordlite, one of the leading full service technology service providers in northern Germany, provides its customers with technical design as well as consulting and planning for various events. Its services include CAD and 3D visualization and design, décor and technical equipment. In all, the company has 35 employees, its own fleet and 2,000 sqm of storage space.

PixelFLEX LED Video Display Panels Part of Macy’s “Store of the Future”

COLUMBUS, OH — On Aug. 11, 2016, Macy’s followed up a previous announcement in late 2015 that it would be shedding 35 to 40 stores with plans to shutter 100 additional locations, or about 15 percent of the remaining 769 retail locations. But in late June, the company also made clear that it was intent upon retooling those that remain, unveiling its “Store of the Future” concept at a Macy’s location in Columbus, OH. Macy’s turned to Gaiam, the yoga and fitness brand, for a design assist, and also introduced Gaiam to Dallas-based Reflect, who has been working with Macy’s for a number of years as their instore digital media partner. Reflect’s Matt Schmitt and Chas Thornhill worked with Gaiam visual merchandising manager Hannah Gilmore on a visual solution that included PixelFLEX’s 3.9mm FLEXLite NXG LED video panels, which are serviceable from front and rear.

For the band’s 2016 “Space and Time Continuum” tour legs in North America and Europe, The band relied on an extensive array of Elation Professional fixtures in 2015, and Whittingham and Hill opted to add Elation’s hybrid Platinum FLX and ACL Series fixtures to the rig for the 2016 shows.
