LONDON – Colour Sound Experiment expanded its large format projection capabilities with a recent investment in Barco 30K projectors. They were quickly put to use for a UB40 tour featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey. Colour Sound supplied a projection system, LED screens, lighting equipment and crew.

MEXICO CITY – Hermes Music México, authorized dealer for Wireless Solution in Mexico, recently completed an architectural lighting project in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City. Hermes supplied PR Lighting fixtures to light up Paragon Tower, a 151m high hotel, all with LED sources. Ricardo Segura de la Cruz, lighting specialist for Hermes, used WhiteBox F-1 G4S series units, which complemented PR Lighting’s capability to use W-DMX, for control.

QUEENSTOWN, New Zealand – Vocal trio Sol3 Mio recently completed a tour of their native New Zealand in February and March in support of their album, On Another Note. LD Joel Stanners lit the trio using 16 Robe BMFL Spots as the main hard edged fixtures. These were supplied by Auckland, New Zealand-based lighting and production rental company Oceania.

The event focuses on stage machinery, drive and control systems, architecture and planning, lighting, acoustics, audio, video and media engineering, studio technology, events, museum technology, decoration and furnishings, make-up and costume design and safety engineering. ATLANTA – First Redeemer Baptist Church, based in Cumming, GA, northeast of Atlanta, turned to Springfield, MO-based Paragon 360 for a lighting assist as it remodeled its sanctuary. Along iwth a modular riser for the church’s 125-member choir, Paragon 360 provided a lighting rig that included LED washes and uplighting fixtures from Chauvet Professional.
