Floor Package for Above & Beyond Includes Elation ACL 360 Bar LED Battens

MIAMI — EDM fans came out of winter hibernation in mid-March in time for Miami Music Week. On March 17, LD Neil Marsh lit U.K.-based DJs Above & Beyond as they performed at the old RC Cola plant in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The gig was the largest independent party during Miami Music Week. Marsh used Elation ACL 360 Bars as part of the floor package for the DJ trio.

NBA All-Star Game Gets Visual Assist from Prelite Studios

TORONTO – The 65th NBA All-Star Game, the first held outside the U.S., took place at Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Feb. 14, 2016. Along with the basketball action, attractions included an intro staged by Cirque du Soleil and a halftime show headlined by Sting. Lighting designer Otis Howard, of Otis Howard Design in St. Petersburg, FL, turned to Prelite Studios to help envision the show’s very diverse lighting needs.

The Knight of Illumination Awards to be Staged at Eventim Apollo Sept. 18, 2016

LONDON – Organizers for the Knight of Illumination Awards (KOI) have announced that this year’s ceremony will take place at the Eventim Apollo (formerly the Hammersmith Odeon, pictured here) on Sept. 18, 2016. Clay Paky will be Headline Sponsor for this year’s event, the ninth year the awards ceremony has been staged. KNOXVILLE, TN  – While the name may suggest otherwise, The University of Tennessee Medical Center’s annual fundraising gala, ‘An Evening in Orange’ was a glittering evening of white, with a lighting package donated by Bandit Lites. The black tie event and dance party took place April 16 and benefited The Cancer Research Endowment, where UTMC’s CEO Joe Landsman announced that, during this year alone, the Cancer Research Institute raised over $4 million.
