LONDON – For the re-launch of Virgin Radio, now heard via the DAB digital radio platform, the inaugural broadcast took place aboard a specially-lit Virgin train running from Manchester to London. Virgin Radio presenters Edith Bowman and Matt Richardson were aboard the running train to do their show, and so were a number of bands. Maestra London provided portable, battery powered lighting for the train’s 200-mile trip.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL — Anastasia Baptist Church upgraded its AV systems with an assist from Guitar Center Professional (GCPro) and GC Pro affiliate AV integrator Sound System Engineering. GC Pro continues assisting the church in refining its media systems and enhancing its ability to communicate its message to attendees. At the church’s Christian Life Center, a 15,000-square-foot sanctuary holding up to 1,200 worshipers, the upgrade includes new video and lighting systems featuring a mountain, tying in with a sermon’s theme.

Using Evans & Sutherland’s Digistar 5 system and two Christie D4K2560 projectors, audiences experience intergalactic journeys and the latest scientific discoveries. Closed from 2004 to 2014, the reopened planetarium now draws over 100,000 visitors annually thanks to the efforts of the Columbus community, COSI Team, Evans & Sutherland, and Christie projection technology.
