NASHVILLE – Bandit Lites added to the Clay Paky fixtures in its inventory with its recent acquisition of Mythos and Spheriscan fixtures. LDs Mike Swinford and Nick Whitehouse are using Mythos fixtures for Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett, respectively. LD Butch Allen has also been using Bandit-supplied Spheriscan fixtures (pictured here).

NEW YORK — As New Yorkers celebrated the arrival of 2016, several thousand EDM fans rocked out at Big Week NYC, a series of concerts produced by RPM Presents and staged at Pier 94 and Pier 36. Kevin Mignone, owner of New York-based KM Productions, lit Rudimental, Nicky Romero, Knife Party, Future, Travis Scott, Chainsmokers, and Oliver Heldens, among others, with a rig that included Robe BMFL Spots and Pointes.

Indiana Supreme Court Rules in Favor of State Fair Commission, Against Mid-America Sound on Liability Issue

INDIANAPOLIS — In a unanimous decision, Indiana’s Supreme Court ruled in favor of the State Fair Commission and against Mid-America Sound on whether contractual indemnity provisions could shield Mid-America from liability for the Aug. 13, 2011 collapse of the temporary concert staging structure used for the Indianapolis State Fair. The collapse in high winds killed seven and injured 58.
