Christie HS Series Laser Phosphor Projectors

Christie reports another industry benchmark with the recently launched HS Series laser phosphor projectors. The company says it includes the world’s brightest 1DLP laser phosphor projector. Featuring “BoldColor Technology” for richer, more vivid colors, and a 3X color wheel speed, the Christie D12HD-HS and Christie D12WU-HS respectively deliver HD and WUXGA resolution in a compact chassis that is the quietest 10,000+ lumens laser phosphor projector on the market.

High End Systems Augments Sales Force For 2016

NOTTINGHAM, U.K. – For a production of ‘Terrorism’ by Oleg and Vladimir Presnyakov, Lucy Greaves, technical course leader at New College Nottingham, UK, met the need for a lighting effect that could focus on an actor’s face by turning to  Glyn O’Donoghue at Ambersphere Solutions. O’Donoghue put Thor Andre’ from the Technical Sales team in charge of the project and he liaised directly with Technical Tutor, Andy Atkin. They worked toward a solution that included Ayrton MagicDot-R and Ayrton NandoBeam S3 fixtures.

BEIJING – For a production of Verdi’s Aida at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, LD Vinicio Cheli worked with an Italy-based design team including stage designer Ezio Frigerio, director Francesco Micheli, costume designer Francia Squarciapino and Sergio Metalli, who dealt with the video projections. Cheli also included fixtures from Italy-based Clay Paky in the rig – Alpha Profile 1500s and Alpha Wash 1500s.
