BUCHAREST, Romania — Bucharest City Hall’s annual Bucharest Christmas Market, organized with an assist from CreArT (Centre for Creation, Art and Tradition), draws holiday visitors with crafts, foods, music and a 50-foot-tall Christmas tree emblazoned with 20,000 lights. SGM partner FIVE’S International has been serving as the technical provider of the event, deploying SGM LED luminaries for both architectural installations and entertainment stage light setups.

AMSTERDAM – AV Stumpfl’s plans for ISE 2016 include a focus on new feature updates to Wings Engine Raw, pictured here. Wings Engine Raw promises uncompressed 4K media serving and was already used by MatrixManagement for Audi AG at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015.

LONDON – Central Presentations Ltd (CPL) supplied full technical production and design to the high profile Global African Investment Summit (TGAIS) event in central London. CPL was working for Swindon-based Live Communications who managed the event production for the organizer dmg::events.

SYDNEY – Australian TV lighting designer Ian Anderson (of Mitech Design) wasted no time in commandeering GLP’s new LED-based impression X4 Bars as soon as they arrived in the country, pressing them into service on the latest series of X Factor.

DUBAI – To help put one of Nissan’s newest Infiniti car models in its best light at Dubai Studio City,  production director Mirco Resta and LD Emiliano Morgia used Clay Paky Mythos, Sharpy and Alpha Profile 1200 fixtures.

LEEUWARDEN, The Netherlands – Neushoorn (Rhino), an entertainment venue in the heart of Leeuwarden, opened in October with LED light fixtures from Elation lighting several of its performance spaces. Elation partner Lightco, the lighting sales division of the Ampco Flashlight Group, worked on the project with Klaas Visser, Neushoorn’s head of audio, video and lighting.
