DETROIT – LMG Touring provided lighting and LED support for GRiZMAS II, a 12-day fundraiser capped with a concert featuring Grant Kwiecinski, a.k.a. GRiZ. The asymmetrical design featured 90 of LMG’s 18MM LED tiles and 60 of the company’s 12MM LED LightSlices along with Clay Paky Sharpys, Martin MAC Auras. Production Manager and Lighting Designer Ian Davis used a grandMA console for control, and show elements rolled in on carts for easy setup-teardown.

GIZA, Egypt — For Yanni’s sold-out, two-show run at the Great Pyramids of Egypt, which took place over the 2015 Halloween weekend, Prolite Event Solutions provided Martin’s MAC Viper AirFXs, MAC Quantum Washes, MAC 2000 Profiles and MAC 700 Washes. The shows were captured in 4K high-definition audio/video and will air in March as part of a PBS special entitled “Yanni: The Dream Concert – Live from the Great Pyramids of Egypt,” which will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray.

ULM, Germany – To commemorate 125 years since the completion of the 530-foot-high Ulm church tower spire, once the tallest man-made structure in the world, artist Rafael Lozano Hemmer worked with Airstar on a custom made air-filled Pendulair 600 balloon representing the sun.
