MONTREAL – The Duceppe theater company staged Judy Garland, la fin d’une étoile, a French language adaptation of Peter Quilter’s End of the Rainbow, which focusing on the last months of actress Judy Garland’s life, in Montreal from April 8 to May 16. Set designer Olivier Landreville required custom carpet to showcase Garland’s performance in a hotel suite, where a piano would sit. He turned to Vincent Rousselle, Duceppe’s technical director, for an assist, and Rousselle found a custom printed carpet solution from Enhance a Colour.

The new COLORado 1 Solo from Chauvet Professional uses a 60-watt Quad-Color (red, green, blue white) LED with output that appears as a single beam, hence the “Solo” in its name. It was designed for a wide range of applications, indoors or out. This IP65-rated par-style wash fixture will be unveiled by the company at LDI Booth #539.
BIRMINGHAM, MI – Emagine Entertainment’s recently opened Emagine Palladium theatre features a Christie Experiential Networks (CEN) immersive digital signage installation in the lobby. It’s part of CEN’s nationwide rollout that is due to have 200 theatre lobbies in North America equipped with immersive visuals by the end of this year.
