Colour Sound Lights Arcadia ‘Metamorphosis’ Event in U.K.

BRISTOL, U.K. – For Arcadia’s Metamorphosis, Colour Sound Experiment lit the 12-meter-high three-legged spider built out of industrial scrap metal. Some upgrades to the lighting kit were made since the last Arcadia spider performance at Glastonbury this year, including new SGM XC-5 LED strobe units and adding lighting fixtures to six PA towers erected for the surround sound system in Queen Square.

LONDON  – Singer songwriter Charli XCX has publically stated that she experiences sound-to-color synaesthesia and ‘sees’ music in colors … so it was not a complete surprise to show designer Rob Sinclair and lighting designer Greg Hill when she requested colored smoke for her current tour. Prominent smoke is also in tune with the ‘horror prom’ theme of the current live show.

Total Structures’ Pointman Summer Road Trip Wraps Up with Sept. 30 Event

VENTURA, CA – Total Structures noted that the final stop of its Pointman Summer Road Trip will take place at the company’s home base in Ventura, CA on Wednesday, September 30.
