SPICELAND, IN – Draper, Inc. has announced its TecVision XH900X Grey projection viewing surface has been certified by the Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) for excellent color reproduction and fidelity. XH900X Grey performs very well in moderate ambient light, is well suited for high resolution content, and is 4K ready. This latest announcement means the entire TecVision Engineered Surface Technology line is now ISF certified.

Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church Converts from Projection Setup to Elation LED Video

GIG HARBOR, WA – Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church recently converted the visual platform in their main worship space from a traditional projector and screen system to Elation EZ Series LED video screens. Church leaders initially looked at two 15,000 lumen projectors as replacements for a pair of aging 10K lumen projectors but opted for the Elation video screens instead. Agility AVL installed the gear.

Böhse Onkelz (Bad Uncles) Summer Reunion Show Lit with Clay Paky Gear

MANNHEIM, Germany — 1980s German rock/punk band Böhse Onkelz (Bad Uncles) reunited at Germany’s Hockenheimring race track earlier this year for their first show in nine years. LD Jerry Appelt included 80 Clay Paky Sharpys and 36 A.leda B-EYE K20s in the rig. PRG provided the gear to light the band on the main stage as well as a B-stage that brought the performers closer to more of their fans.

SHoW DMX Neo wireless DMX Now with Maximum Bandwidth Technology

New Maximum Bandwidth Technology lets City Theatrical’s SHoW DMX to change from Frequency Hopping to Wide Band Digital Modulation, which allows it to narrow its output to smaller areas of the 2.4GHz spectrum, such as Wi-Fi channel 14 where (in the U.S.) no Wi-Fi broadcast takes place. This allows SHoW DMX to avoid all Wi-Fi interference in an otherwise saturated spectrum. No other wireless DMX system can make this claim. This is accomplished simply by selecting a SHoW ID on the user interface or via RDM.
