MEXICO CITY, Mexico – Vatel Producciones, founded and managed by Miriam Villalobos is celebrating its eighth birthday with a wide range of events utilising their eight Robe Pointes and two MiniMes in Mexico City.

Vatel’s owner, Miriam Villalobos – born in Córdoba, Veracruz, and grew up in Querétaro –  was curious to learn about the production industry, and back in 2000 took a job in public relations at local company A 1 Audio … during a show by Mexican band Molotov.

MG 3D Laser Theater at Moody Gardens Using Christie Projection System

GALVESTON, TX – D3D Cinema and Moody Gardens announced that the MG 3D Laser Theater at Moody Gardens is the first institution in the world to feature a giant screen 6-Primary (6P) laser projection system. The setup includes Christie’s 6P laser-illuminated 4K-resolution 3D dual projector system, used to light up the venue’s 60 by 80-foot projection screen with imagery that’s nearly 3.5 times brighter than the current industry standard. The system also includes new 3D glasses technology using 6P eyewear designed and manufactured by Infitec GmbH. The 1.4 gain premium white screen was provided by MDI.

LOS ANGELES – A.C.T Lighting, Inc. noted record results in 2014. Along with A.C.T Lighting founder Bob Gordon, the leadership team includes Ben Saltzman, who was named CEO in July; Brian Dowd in marketing and sales, Mario Collazo in technical service, Rick Dobbie in operations and Aileen Gilsen in finance.  All are now responsible for their respective areas across all of the company’s operations and geographic locations.
