NEW YORK  — The 2014 NFL Draft, staged at Radio City Music Hall here, was the highest rated ESPN Draft telecast in more than two decades. Christie Lites provided the rig to the specifications of LD Micheal Franks, who included Harman’s Martin Professional fixtures to provide light for the entire venue.

We were free to use whatever fixtures we thought were the most appropriate in our inventory — and that was clearly our special chrome impression 90. The RGB heads were originally commissioned specifically for television use — but the aesthetic was perfect for the Oak Room.”

NEW YORK – Looking to keep one of New York’s hottest clubs on the cutting edge, the owners of Mamajuana revamped the club’s look recently, giving the chic nightspot a new color palette with 12 Legend 412 fixtures along two 20-foot I-Beams (six on each) that run along either side of the Mamajuana dance floor.  On nights when there isn’t a concert, six additional Legend 412 fixtures will also flood the dance floor.  “We like to bathe the floor with very rich colors using a GrandMA to program some dynamic shows. We rely on the intensity of our color beams to touch the crowd without using patterns or gobos. The dance floor is so packed, no one will see any of the patterns you create, so it’s all about the colors and intensity of the beams,” said LD Jason Ayala.

Combining the ‘warmth of Latin American dining with a trendy New York City-esque lounge environment’, Toro Toro Pan Latin Steakhouse creates a club atmosphere with the help of twenty-seven ADJ Sweeper Beams behind the DJ booth. Eight ADJ Vizi Beam Hybrid 2R (moving heads) and two Vizi Roller Beam 2R (innovative 360-degree barrel effects) also play a big part in the setup by providing on-trend beam effects, super-bright output, and low heat output. Holding its own against the 2R fixtures is the Inno Spot Pro, with its wide beam angle working well on the low ceilings and four of ADJ’s Lightning COB Canons provided the final piece of the puzzle, giving audiences a mesmerizing strobe effect.
