Trans-Lux’s TL Vision 2mm HD LED large screen display measures approximately 20’ x 20’ with a 3840×2880 pixel array. The display produces 1080p HD content and is capable of displaying 4K content driven by the company’s epic Series LED System Software Suite. The display also features the company’s new LED Cabinet System to keep alignment issues to a minimum and expedites display set-up.

German Theater Installs Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup Stage Management System

ERLANGEN, Germany — The Markgrafentheater here has installed a stage management system from the Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup as part of a recent equipment upgrade. New components include a PerformanCeTRL controller and a DELEC CS 1624 intercom matrix from the company’s oratis compact range. The systems were installed within three months. They are currently being used to support the Bayerische Theatertage festival, which runs from May 16-31.

NASHVILLE — Bandit Lites recently added a number of Clay Paky’s new A.leda B-Eye K20 fixtures to its rental inventory. The fixture is noted for zoom ranges from 4° to 60°, giving it the ability to function as both a wash and beam light. SYDNEY — Simon Brockwell, a U.K.-based light artist and creative director of Dark Art London, is presenting a light sculpture, Sky Flower, as part of the 2014 Vivid Festival of Music, Light & Ideas here from May 23-June 9. Robe partners ULA Group and Elite Sound & Lighting are supporting the project with a Robe MMX Blade, four 600E Beams, four LEDWash 1200s, eight LEDBeam 100s and eight Pointes, all from Robe’s Robin Series, along with four CitySkape Xtremes. TDC Supports Vivid Sydney with 50 Projectors; coolux, Watchout Gear

SYDNEY — Vivid Sydney is brightening Australia’s biggest city as the weather cools and days grow short with outdoor light installations and projections from May 23 to June 9. Technical Direction Company (TDC) is providing 50 Barco projectors, ranging from the 40K HDQ-2K40 to 22K HDF-W26 and FLM-R22+ units.
