Christie Lites Plans to Open Chicago Office

ORLANDO – Christie Lites announced plans to open a Chicago office in fall 2014. The move in Chicago follows the company’s recent expansion to a new location in Las Vegas this year, the launch of Christie Lites New York (in Fairview, NJ) and Winnipeg, Canada in 2013 and the launch of the company’s Nashville location in 2012. The new full-service 50,000 square foot warehouse location near Chicago is slated to open in Woodridge, IL. More details will be announced as they develop in late summer 2014.

HOUSTON — Kevin Rigdon wears two hats, as a faculty member at the University of Houston and also as Associate Director/Design for Houston’s Alley Theatre. So when the Alley Theatre underwent a renovation, he proposed the shared use of the university’s two theatre spaces — and the university’s decision to upgrade their lighting system. Rigdon worked with Stagelight on the project, which included PL Series LED luminaires from Philips Selecon.

Its current home has a 2,000-seat sanctuary with new AV technologies to support a contemporary worship format. All Pro Sound (APS) of Pensacola, FL, which handled the design and installation of the new systems, included ElektraLite fixtures sourced from U.S. distributor Group One Ltd.
