Sagebrush Community Church Installs 100 Elation EPV762 Video Panels

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — For a new worship center that is part of  Sagebrush Community Church, based here, church leaders turned to VAST Technologies, Inc. for a high resolution LED video screen. Stephen MacAurther, VAST lighting systems designer and engineer, steered the church toward Elation EPV762 video panels. The 100 panels are set up as two 50-panel walls, each measuring 10 by 5 feet (WxH).

HOLLYWOOD PARK, CA — The 22nd annual Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) Academy Awards Viewing Party, which raised $5.1 million for the fight against AIDS, was lit with gear provided in part by 4Wall Los Angeles. The Viewing Party featured a 5-course dinner prepared by Chef Gordon Ramsay as well as a stage performance by singer / songwriter Ed Sheeran. The gear from 4Wall LA that was used to light the stage performance included ETC Source Four Lekos and Jarag Par 30 fixtures.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Kneehigh Theatre production of Noël Coward’s Brief Encounter is making a lasting acquaintance with ETC gear — including the Source Four Revolutions and profiles driven by an Eos Ti console for a late 2013 run of shows down under and the more recent adoption of Source Four LED Lustr+ units for a bicoastal string of U.S. shows this year. (The production was staged at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills from Feb. 15-March 23 and the Shakespeare Theater’s Lansburgh Theatre in Washington, D.C. from March 29-April 13.)

OneRepublic’s U.K./Ireland Shows Lit with Clay Paky B-EYEs, Sharpys

DUBLIN — OneRepublic’s headlining “Native Tour,” which completed its shows in the U.K. and Ireland on March 24 after spending last year circling the globe, was the first tour to utilize Clay Paky’s A.leda B-EYE K20 LED-based moving lights.  A complement of Clay Paky Sharpys was also on hand.  Neg Earth supplied the gear for the Colorado Springs, CO-based band.
