SYDNEY — Paul Marin, 31, whose design work at dance clubs and stages included lighting and laser effects along with set design, died Feb. 14 from Glioblastoma Multiforme, a form of brain cancer. He had been fighting the disease since it was diagnosed last September. Marin had provided the lighting design for events around the world, including Peter Rauhofer’s WORK! party at Roseland Ballroom in New York City, the Circuit Festival in Barcelona, Spain, various gCircuit events, the Sidney Mardi Gras and many more.

The church draws more than 12,000 per week to its services, and the Chroma-Q fixtures bring hues from the stage to the seating areas.
