LISLE, IL — For “Illumination,” a dynamic and interactive holiday light experience at The Morton Arboretum here, Lightswitch principal, project director and LD John Featherstone used more than 300 Elation Level Q7 IP PARs provided by Chicago-based Intelligent Lighting Creations (ILC). A nonprofit outdoor museum where over 4,100 different species of trees and other plants are highlighted in special landscaped areas, the collection is brilliantly illuminated through Jan. 4, 2014.

Schools Get Rigging Inspections Courtesy of USITT, Sponsors

SYRACUSE, NY — USITT has approved the largest number of schools ever for free stage rigging inspections and safety training in the latest round of its Rigging Safety Initiative. LONDON — For Jessie J’s Alive Tour, Creative Technology (CT) provided a video system including LED screens (more than 300 Barco MiStrips) and control (Ai Media Servers and a Panasonic 450 mixing system with a multi-viewer output). The mix of prerecorded video content and I-Mag was overseen by Paul Caslin and Steve Price. The Jessie J Alive Tour completed its U.K. leg in November and takes off to America in the New Year for a three-month tour.
