Elation Professional Platinum Profile 35 Pro with Framing

Elation Professional added a new moving head to their Platinum series of fixtures, the Platinum Profile 35 Pro. The Profile 35 Pro uses the Philips Platinum 35 MSR 800W lamp which is comparable to a 1,200W head. The unique feature included in this latest model, the rotating 3-blade framing system for controlling the beam shape. Also included is an 8-50 degree zoom with auto-focus, a CMY color mixing system, Variable CRO, and an 8 color interchangeable dichroic color wheel. For projection, there are two gobo wheels, a 160 degree animation effect and a 3-facet prism.

Margarita Parties with Robe Lighting at Auditorio Nacional Mexico City

18 year old Lighting Designer Ángel Alvarado took Robe Lighting to the party to light Columbian born singer Magarita, La Diosa de La Cumbia in a special show at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. Alverado used a range of Rob products that included MMX Spots, LEDWash 1200s LEDWash 600s and LEDBeam 100s and ColorWash 250E ATs. The entire rig was supplied by Mexico based Tama Producciones.

Chauvet Professional Nexus Aw 7×7 Warm White LED Array

Following in the footsteps of their Parnelli Award winning Nexus 4×4, Chauvet Professional has launched the Nexus Aw 7×7 warm white LED array. The 7×7 features 49 3-watt 2,800k CREE LEDs arranged in a 7×7 configuration. The fixtures uses a number of control protocols, Kling-Net, Art-Net and DMX to control the individual LEDs. The panel measures in at 19.7” square and offers optional rigging kits for versatile hanging options.

Chauvet Professional introduced a new LED fixture to their theatrical based series of products, the Ovation C-640FC. The C-640FC is a dual headed LED cyc light with two LED cells per head.
