LOS ANGELES — Headliners for the 12th annual Honda Civic Tour, Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson, are being joined on the 34-date jaunt from Aug. 1 (St. Louis, MO) to Oct. 6 (Los Angeles) by The Voice contestants Rozzi Crane, Tony Lucca, and PJ Morton. NEW YORK — LD Clifton Taylor lit the New York Philharmonic’s A Dancer’s Dream: Two Works by Stravinsky with a lighting rig that included Showline SL BAR 640, Philips Selecon PLCyc LED, Philips Vari-Lite VL3500 Spot, VL1000 ERS and VL5B Wash luminaires from Philips Entertainment Lighting. The production combined two of Igor Stravinsky’s ballet scores, “The Fairy’s Kiss” and “Petrushka,” into one production.

ZURICH, Switzerland — Drawing close to 950,000 people, the Zurich Street Parade 2013 featured nearly 200 DJs performing on 30 trucks and eight large-scale stages. Along with such headliners as Bob Sinclar, Westbam, Nicky Romero and NERVO, the event featured Laserworld AG’s laser shows from three stages. Laserworld used Wireless Solution Sweden’s W-DMX for its peripheral systems including smoke and haze machines.

TINLEY PARK, IL — After the Christian Life Center (CLC) here opted to supplement its existing technical infrastructure and add automated lighting technology to its services, the church brought in lighting consultant Jason Reberski from JR Lighting Design Inc. Reberski included 12 GLP impression X4S fixtures as part of the upgraded rig for the church, which has a congregation of about 1,000 people.
