Their setup included High End Systems DLVs and TechnoArcs with Hog 4 control.

DERRY-LONDONDERRY, Northern Ireland — Having seen the benefits to Liverpool after it was designated a European City of Culture by the European Union in 2008, the United Kingdom launched a similar program for cities in the U.K. The first city designated for the one-year honor is the Northern Ireland city known as both Derry and Londonderry. To support the celebrations of that designation, for the year 2013, Manchester, U.K.-based dbn Lighting provided Clay Paky fixtures.

The screens offer brightness ranges of 3000-5000 nits (10mm) and 4200 nits (20mm) and viewing angles of 120/120 (10mm) and 140/140 degrees (20mm). Transparency is indexed at 21 percent (10mm) and 40 percent (20mm). Product features include die-cast aluminum alloy construction, an auto-locking design for quick installation, and the ability to fit eight units in a single flight case. Chauvet To Open West Coast Branch and Showroom

SUN VALLEY, CA — Chauvet is now staffing up for its West Coast branch office and showroom, which is due to open in September here at 7555 N. San Fernando Road, Sun Valley, CA. The facility will serve customers in the western part of the U.S. with technical support, training and demo programs, and it will also be used for warehousing and distribution. Video Feature at Swedish Museum Relies on Dataton Watchout

LINKÖPING, Sweden — Sweden’s National Museum of Science and Technology (Tekniska museet) has drawn more than 300,000 visitors with its 100 Innovations exhibition since it premiered in Feb. 2012. One of the exhibition highlights, an hourly screening called “The Brain,” relies on Dataton Watchout multi-image and presentation software along with six projectors that map individual sections of video across a 6-by-12-meter curved video wall display.
