NEW CASTLE, DE – The Backstreet Boys world tour kicked off its North American leg Aug. 2, again with video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs but with a modification in the equipment package and a new video crew. When the tour started May 25 in China, Pete’s Big TVs provided Liantronics PH-8 video panels for the main screen. For this North American leg they are now using the 224 digiLED MC7 7 mm high resolution LED video panels for the main screen, for a configuration of 8 panels high by 28 panels wide.

CT Asia Pacific Orders Barco HDX W20 Flex Projectors
SHANGHAI, China — Creative Technology’s (CT) Asia Pacific operation, based here, recently added a number of Barco HDX W20 Flex Projectors to its inventory. The order followed the recent delivery of a Barco FSN system earlier in the summer. Lightswitch Marks 20 Year Milestone
CHICAGO — Lightswitch is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month. Founded in 1993 with offices in San Francisco and Chicago, the firm expanded with locations in Los Angeles, New York and Orlando. In 2007, it opened an architectural lighting division. The company extended its reach to Asia with a Hong Kong office in 2012. The Lightswitch team now includes more than 40 designers and support staff with its six full-service offices.
