LONDON —British pop star Robbie Williams performed at London’s O2 Arena for three nights of concerts Nov 22-Nov 24. The final night was broadcast across England’s Sky1 network. PRG supplied the lighting package, including its Best Boy 4000 Spot luminaire, for Creative Director Willie Williams and Set Designer Mark Fisher. Williams brought in LD Allen Branton to consult on the lighting for the televised show.

For an upcoming episode of ABC TV’s new hit series Nashville, fading country star Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and rising country ingénue, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) find themselves on a co-headlining stadium tour. The producers turned to Bandit Lites to provide concert lighting for the fictitious show, shot at Bridgestone Arena.

PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Orchestra welcomed new Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, with great fanfare on Oct. 18 at the Kimmel Center’s Verizon Hall. Starlite Productions provided the lighting, designed by its own Steve Kosiba. The new conductor’s favorite color, blue, was an important theme in the lighting design. Starlite used Philips Color Kinetic Color Blast 12s, Martin MA 101s, Vari-Lite 3500 Spots and a grandMA full size console for the musical event.
