NEW YORK – The 2012 Behind the Scenes Holiday Cards have been announced. Created by a lineup of lighting designers including John Lee Beatty, Michael Curry, Ralph Funicello, Andrew Hefter, Cindy White and David Zinn, proceeds from card orders benefit the ESTA Foundation’s Behind the Scenes program. Orders will be taken until Sept. 7 so that cards can be delivered by early November.

LAS VEGAS — “Are you sure you have the right guy?” replied a stunned Charlie Hernandez upon getting the call from Parnelli Awards executive producer Terry Lowe and executive director Patrick Stansfield. LOS ANGELES – Canadian rapper Drake is touring with Elation’s EPV762 MH Moving Head LED Video Panel. LD Patrick Dierson says the moving panels are getting such jaw-dropping audience reactions, that they’ve increased the number of them as the tour continues on, from an original 48 units to 96 units. Drake’s tour returns to the US in May.

NORTH BERGEN, NJ – In less than 10 hours, Drake Kings installed more than 7,700 yards (equaling 4.3 miles) of event carpet and Astro Turf for the recent Bike Expo New York. They also set up 96 trade show booths while lining the perimeter of the expo with 500 feet of event drape. It took two months of planning to pull off the event set-up.
