The band, which had been performing shortly before a squall blew down the main stage at the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest on July 17, injuring their driver, said they would not be performing on stages made by Groupe Berger/Mega-Stage until they could be convinced they were safe. Read More »NEW YORK — Two people working backstage at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s (JALC) Rose Theater were injured July 29 when the lift they were working with reportedly fell over. The injuries were serious enough for the workers to be taken from the scene to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Both workers have since been released and are recovering at home, noted Gail A. Beltrone, vice president, Frederick P. Rose Hall, which houses Jazz at Lincoln Center.
